Remark**
Deleting “.Virtualbox” causes a reset of the global Virtualbox settings and guest list stored in Virtualbox.xml. There is also a backup of Virtualbox.xml called Virtualbox.xml-prev. Renaming Virtualbox.xml to something else, then renaming Virtualbox.xml-prev to Virtualbox.xml might clear the problem without the complete reset.

I’ve installed virtual box onto my windows 10 machine and when I try to open after installation, I get this error.

Solution
Go to C:\Users\YOUR COMPUTER NAME
There you will see the folder .Virtualbox

delete the .Virtualbox folder
Should be as above

Run Oracle VM VirtualBox as Administrator

VirtualBox Error- VT x is disabled
