Recommended engine oil and oil capacity:
Check the engine oil level through the sight glass on the right-hand side of the oil sump.
Stop the engine and allow a few minutes for the oil to settle to a steady level.
The oil level must be checked with the vehicle perfectly upright and the engine cold. The oil level must be between the MIN and MAX marks.
Top up the oil if the level is low.
SHELL Advance DUCATI 15W-50 Fully Synthetic Oil.
Ducati recommends using Shell Advance 4T Ultra 15W-50 oil.
Alternatively, you may use a motorcycle engine oil with an SAE 15W-50 viscosity rating that meets the following specifications: JASO MA2 and API SN.
